Atomic Motion in Single H2_{2} and D2_{2} Molecule Junction Induced by Phonon Excitation

We have investigated Au atomic contacts in H2_{2} and D2_{2} environment by conductance measurement and dI/dVdI/dV spectroscopy. A single H2_{2} or D2_{2} molecule was found to bridge Au electrodes. In the case of the Au/H2_{2}/Au junction, symmetric peaks were observed in dI/dVdI/dV spectra, while they were not observed for the Au/D2_{2}/Au junction. The shape of the peaks in dI/dVdI/dV spectra originated from the structural change of the single molecule junction induced by the phonon excitation. The structural change could occur only for the Au/H2_{2}/Au junction. The difference in the two single molecule junctions could be explained by larger zero point energy of Au-H2_{2} vibration mode than that in the Au/H2_{2}/Au junction.Comment: 5 pages, 4 figures, to be appear in Phys. Axial U(1)U(1) symmetry at high temperature in 2-flavor lattice QCD

We investigate the axial U(1)AU(1)_A symmetry breaking above the critical temperature in two-flavor lattice QCD. The ensembles are generated with dynamical M\"obius domain-wall or reweighted overlap fermions. The U(1)AU(1)_A susceptibility is extracted from the low-modes spectrum of the overlap Dirac eigenvalues. We show the quark mass and temperature dependences of U(1)AU(1)_A susceptibility. Our results at T=220MeVT=220 \, \mathrm{MeV} imply that the U(1)AU(1)_A symmetry is restored in the chiral limit. Its coincidence with vanishing topological susceptibility is observed.Comment: 8 pages, 4 figures, Proceedings of the 35th International Symposium on Lattice Field Theory, June 18-24, 2017, Granada, Spai

Axial U(1) symmetry and Dirac spectra in high-temperature phase of Nf=2N_f=2 lattice QCD

The axial U(1)U(1) symmetry in the high-temperature phase is investigated with Nf=2N_f = 2 lattice QCD simulations. The gauge ensembles are generated with M\"obius domain-wall fermions, and the overlap/domain-wall reweighting is applied. We find that the U(1)AU(1)_A susceptibility evaluated from the spectrum of overlap-Dirac eigenvalues is strongly suppressed in the chiral limit. We also study its volume dependence.Comment: 7 pages, 2 figures, talk presented at the 36th International Symposium on Lattice Field Theory (Lattice 2018), 22-28 July, 2018, Michigan, US

Explosive Nucleosynthesis in Magnetohydrodynamical Jets from Collapsars II. Heavy-Element Nucleosynthesis of s, r, p-Processes

We investigate the nucleosynthesis in a massive star of 70 M_solar with solar metallicity in the main sequence stage. The helium core mass after hydrogen burning corresponds to 32 M_solar. Nucleosynthesis calculations have been performed during the stellar evolution and the jetlike supernova explosion of a collapsar model, where the weak s-, p-, and r-processes are taken into account. We confirm that s-elements of 60 < A < 90 are highly overproduced relative to the solar abundances in the hydrostatic nucleosynthesis. During oxygen burning, p-elements of A > 90 are produced via photodisintegrations of seed s-elements. However, the produced p-elements are disintegrated in later stages except for ^{180}Ta. In the explosive nucleosynthesis, elements of 90 < A < 160 are significantly overproduced relative to the solar values owing to the r-process. Only heavy p-elements (N > 50) are overproduced via the p-process. Compared with the previous study of r-process nucleosynthesis calculations in the collapsar model of 40 M_solar by Fujimoto et al. 2007, 2008, our jet model cannot contribute to the third peak of the solar r-elements and intermediate p-elements. Averaging the overproduction factors over the progenitor masses with the use of Salpeter's IMF, we suggest that the 70 M_solar star could contribute to the solar weak s-elements of 60 < A < 90 and neutron-rich elements of 90 < A < 160. We confirm the primary synthesis of light p-elements in the ejected matter of high peak temperature. The ejected matter has [Sr/Eu] \sim -0.4, which is different from that of a typical r-process-enriched star CS22892-052 ([Sr/Eu] \sim -1). We find that Sr-Y-Zr isotopes are primarily synthesized in the explosive nucleosynthesis in a similar process of the primary production of light p-elements, which has been considered as one of the sites of a lighter element primary process (LEPP).Comment: 25 pages, 13 figures, 2 tables, accepted for publication in Progress of Theoretical Physic

R-Process Nucleosynthesis in MHD Jet Explosions of Core-Collapse Supernovae

We investigate rr-process nucleosynthesis during the magnetohydrodynamical (MHD) explosion of supernova in a massive star of 13 MM_{\odot}. Contrary to the case of the spherical explosion, jet-like explosion due to the combined effects of the rotation and magnetic field lowers the electron fraction significantly inside the layers above the iron core. We find that the ejected material of low electron fraction responsible for the rr-process comes out from the silicon rich layer of the presupernova model. This leads to the production up to the third peak in the solar rr-process elements. We examine whether the fission affects the rr-process paths by using the full nuclear reaction network with both the spontaneous and β\beta-delayed fission included. Moreover, we pay particular attention how the mass formula affects the rr-process peaks with use of two mass formulae. It is found that both formulae can reproduce the global abundance pattern up to the third peak though detailed distributions are rather different. We point out that there are variations in the rr-process nucleosynthesis if the MHD effects play an important role in the supernova explosion.Comment: 19 pages with 7 figures, submitted to Ap

Singing Voice Synthesis Based on a Musical Note Position-Aware Attention Mechanism

This paper proposes a novel sequence-to-sequence (seq2seq) model with a musical note position-aware attention mechanism for singing voice synthesis (SVS). A seq2seq modeling approach that can simultaneously perform acoustic and temporal modeling is attractive. However, due to the difficulty of the temporal modeling of singing voices, many recent SVS systems with an encoder-decoder-based model still rely on explicitly on duration information generated by additional modules. Although some studies perform simultaneous modeling using seq2seq models with an attention mechanism, they have insufficient robustness against temporal modeling. The proposed attention mechanism is designed to estimate the attention weights by considering the rhythm given by the musical score. Furthermore, several techniques are also introduced to improve the modeling performance of the singing voice. Experimental results indicated that the proposed model is effective in terms of both naturalness and robustness of timing.Comment: 5 pages, 4 figures, 2 tables, submitted to ICASSP 202
